Woods Services- Run for the Woods Event on May 2nd

On Saturday, May 2nd, JKJ sponsored a 5k/ 1 mile fun (Run for the Woods) event with Woods Services. It was a nice day and there was a great turnout of 900 participants.

Woods Services empowers individuals with disabilities to achieve their highest potential and live a fulfilling life. The organization provides educational, residential, health care, clinical and vocational supports and services to more than 600 people of all ages and levels of care with a unique model that drives greater achievement for individuals – and best practices for the industry. Philadelphia schoolteacher Mollie Woods founded Woods in 1913 as a progressive residential school for children diagnosed with intellectual disabilities. Woods Services is located in Langhorne, Pa.
