Zywave, a leading insurtech provider serving insurers, agents and brokers, and service providers, announced the shortlist of organizations nominated for the 2023 Cyber Risk Awards.

Formerly known under the Advisen name, Zywave’s Cyber Risk Awards are determined by “People’s Choice,” leveraging Zywave’s vast contact database of over 40,000 insurance professionals to solicit votes.

JKJ was selected as a finalist in the category of Cyber Retail Broker of the Year. This award recognizes the efforts of a dedicated, innovative retail broker team that has worked tirelessly in the past year to expand its understanding of cyber risk insurance in the wider marketplace. The winner will have expanded the cyber sector either by a new sales technique or initiative, investing in teams of experts, or by having the best take-up rate in the market.

The award winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner to be held on June 15, 2023, at Gotham Hall in New York City. Nearly 500 of the industry’s elite are expected to attend.

More than 1,400 nominations were received in this year’s Cyber Risk Awards program, and finalists were selected by committee review. Entries were considered in categories spanning the Cyber Industry such as Cyber Insurer of the Year, Cyber Technology Provider of the Year, and Cyber Incident Response Team of the Year.

JKJ’s Cyber Practice Leader, Alexandra Bretschneider noted, “The Cyber Insurance market continues to evolve on an almost-daily basis, making it critically important for businesses to partner with a knowledgeable broker to navigate the complexities of both the risk and the coverage.” She went on to state, “This being the third year in a row proves that JKJ continues to serve as a top broker in this industry. We are humbled and extremely remarkably honored. This nomination recognizes our continued investment in providing valuable services to our clients in this dynamic and critical area of risk.”

“The 2023 Cyber Risk Awards finalists should be proud of their accomplishments and the recognition they’ve received from their peers in the industry,” said Jeff Cohen, Senior Vice President at Zywave. “We look forward to honoring their achievements at the highly anticipated awards presentation this June in New York City.”
