On May 4-6, 2017, Bruce R. White, CPCU, President and Kevin P. Dougher from JKJ attended the 2017 LSA Annual Conference in Washington, DC.

LSA’s largest event, the Annual Conference is a yearly gathering that convenes nonprofit leaders, staff, Board members and faith leaders to build on and celebrate LSA’s national, strong and trusted network, bringing together hundreds of nonprofit Lutheran social ministry leaders united in the mission of transforming lives and communities. We’re excited to be back in the nation’s capital for LSA’s hometown conference, when we’ll recognize the 500th anniversary of the Reformation and the 20th anniversary of Lutheran Services in America.

Attendees benefit from best practices, thought leadership, strategies and resources presented by an impressive line-up of experts from across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. We equip conference participants with real-world innovation case studies and successful examples from people within and outside our network who have shaped their industries and communities.

One of the most powerful aspects of the Conference is the connections made, renewed and strengthened through our strong network of active Lutheran social ministry leaders, united by our shared mission, values and heritage. This gathering brings the community together for dynamic leadership development, inspiration, an emphasis on business acumen, trends, honoring our heritage, growing our understanding of what it means to serve in social ministry, and how we can broaden our impact as a network.
